Hello, my name is Robert Praas and I am studying Econometrics and Business Economics at the Erasmus University.
In 30 years, waste will be history. We will be able to reuse all products and all material. How we are going to do this? Paper, glass and a growing amount of plastics are already being recycled, so it is time for the next step. The idea is to make the students residents more aware of separating waste in my own student house, especially fruit and vegetables. How do I want to achieve this? With a mini-container and a bag. Students can put vegetables, fruit and leftovers in the mini-container. When this is full, they can take the bag to a bigger container. By providing all student residents with a mini-container, you make sure that the step to separate waste is reduced and is ultimately considered something that is normal and easy. This idea is a first test and when it is experienced as successful it can also be used in other student houses.
