Workshop Wilgen Vlechten

Op zaterdag 21 en zondag 22 maart ga je zelf aan de slag tijdens een tweedaagse workshop wilgen vlechten. Samen met andere deelnemers bouw je aan een levend object voor de buitenruimte. Een levende wilgenstructuur is tegelijk sculptuur en ecosysteem: gebouwd van verse wilgentenen die wortelen, groeien en meebewegen met de seizoen. Wat je maakt, blijft leven.

Tijdens de workshop leer je hoe je natuur letterlijk kunt verweven in het dagelijks leven. Door samen te bouwen ontstaat niet alleen een bijzonder object, maar ook een gedeeld gevoel van eigenaarschap en verbondenheid met de plek.

De workshop wordt begeleid door Jasper Riehm en Theo Rekelhof en is geschikt voor iedereen met interesse in groen, maken en samenwerken. Van buurtbewoners en ontwerpers tot nieuwsgierige doeners.

Willow Weaving Workshop

During this two-day workshop on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at willow weaving. Together with the other participants, you will create a living sculpture for an outdoor space. A living willow structure is both a sculpture and an ecosystem: built from fresh willow twigs that take root and grow with the seasons. What you create will continue to live.

During the workshop, you will learn how to incorporate nature into your daily life. By working together, you will create not only a unique object, but also a shared sense of ownership and connection to the place.

Led by Jasper Riehm and Theo Rekelhof, the workshop is suitable for anyone interested in greenery, crafting and collaboration, from local residents and designers to curious doers. Everyone is welcome, from local residents and designers to curious doers.

Participation

Participation is free of charge and places are limited to a maximum of 15 people. Priority will be given to those who can attend both days, but it is also possible to register for one day only.
